Travelxp 4K Europe, world’s first 4K HDR channel, launched on Eutelsat’s popular Hotbird video neighbourhood to offer its services to cable and IPTV networks across Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

Featuring world class travel programs filmed worldwide, Travelxp 4K, launched on Eutelsat’s Hotbird’s 13° East satellite, which is constituted by three high power satellites from the Hotbird family and forms one of the largest broadcasting systems not only in Europe, but also in Middle East and Africa catering to more than 135 million homes in the said regions.

Travelxp 4K also launched on SES Astra 19.2° East on 13th December with a launch on HD+ platform in Germany.

The 4K channel follows the success of Travelxp HD, which offers 100% originally-produced premium travel and lifestyle programming distributed to over 50 million homes globally. Travelxp 4K, is offered in stunning 4K resolution of 10 bit REC 2020 colour space, 50 frames, with HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) HDR (High Dynamic Range). It’s not just about more pixels in 4K but better pixels.

Travelxp 4K, is aimed to provide its viewers an unprecedented viewing experience, with cinema-like picture quality combined with its broader range of colours, higher frame rates and greater luminosity.
